The Weary Kind
Your hearts on the loose
You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind
You called all your shots
Shooting a ball at the corner truck stop
Somehow this don’t feel like home anymore
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind
This ain’t no place to lose your mind
This ain’t no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
Your body aches
Playin’ your guitar
Sweatin’ out the hay
The days and the nights
All feel the same
The whiskey has been
A thorn in your side
It doesn’t forgive
The highway that carves your heart inside
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind
This ain’t no place to lose your mind
This ain’t no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
Your lovers one kiss
Is to damn far from your fingertips
You are the man that ruined the world
Your hearts on the loose
You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose
And this ain’t no place for the weary kind

Academy Award:Best Foreign Film 2010

The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film being one of the Oscars is presented to a full-length film produced beyond the bounds the United States of America. During the first ceremony in 1929 there was no special nomination category for the best foreign film. 27 years later there the first Best Foreign Language Film Award appeared for non-English speaking films. Since then this tradition has not been changed. Of course the film director is the person who receives the Oscar; still the award implies the victory of a definite country as a whole. The European films are in the lead among the winners in this nomination category.

This year it was Argentina that gained the victory in this category. The motion picture’s title is The Secret in their Eyes. The film itself is a captivating murder mystery directed by Juan Jose Campanella. Critics and audience have received the film enthusiastically. Peter Travers describes the picture in the following way: “this spellbinder will sneak up and floor you. It’s that good. A supremely intelligent and deeply touching thriller. Thunderously exciting!”

The film’s plot unravels on the basis of memories of the main character Benjamin Esposito. Having retired from the criminal court Benjamin makes up his mind to write a novel based on his personal experience. In his concept the novel should tell about a tragic story which took place many years ago. Being a criminal court employee the main character experiences an investigation connected with the rape and murder of a beautiful young woman.

Esposito takes very much to heart this terrible case. His greatest wish is to find the murder by all means. This case is very complicated as there are no vestiges of the crime and evidences. In order to advance Benjamin can rely only on his intuition and guess work. His investigation implicated him deep into a world of danger and violence.
Now after many years Benjamin Esposito’s memories have revived. All the dreadful emotional experiences appear before him. Now it is impossible to stop the innumerable vibrations of the memory.
While watching the picture most people can not tear themselves eyes away from it. The film has become a real masterpiece thanks to the wonderful script, excellent acting performance, interesting dialogue and many other points.
